Proxmox Backup

This tutorial enables you to activate the monitoring of Proxmox backups on your Esia.

First, go to your web interface to create a user with read-only rights.

1. Go to the “Access control” page (you are already in the user section)
2. then on “Add”

• Provide a username and password.
• Leave the kingdom as the default.

1. Click on API Token
2. then on add

• Select the user you have created.
• Give a name to your token

The token and its identifier are created.

⚠️ Save the token so that it cannot be retrieved from proxmox ⚠️

Once you have created the user and the token, you now need to give them permissions

1. Click on Permissions
2. and then Add

• Select the backup folder
• Select the user
• Give him the “DatastoreAudit”

• Select the backup folder
• Select the token
• Give it “ rightsDatastoreAudit”

• Add the node and its parameters

• Select the proxmox driver - api

• Fill in the form with the relevant data
