SNMP activation on a Raritan
Activate SNMP
Open your browser and in the address bar enter the IP address of your PDU and pressenter“. Once connected, you should see this:
Then click onDevice Settings“in the main menu and then onNetwork Services“and then onSNMP“The configuration window will appear.
In the SNMP Agent tab, tick the box marked “Enable SNMP v1 / v2c“and, if you wish, change the SNMP community (Read community string). Click on theSave“to confirm the changes:
Serial connection of PDUs
To connect the PDUs in series via a USB cable to avoid having to connect a network cable to each PDU, click on “Device Settings”.Device Settings“in the main menu and thenNetwork “The configuration window appears.
In theCommon Network Settings“tab, choose Master for thePort forwarding role“and choose USB for theDownstream interface” :
Repeat the same operation for the second PDUs and select Slave for the “Port forwarding role” option.Port forwarding role“in this case:
